LLYC shines at El Sol – Ibero-American festival of advertising communication

LLYC’s creativity continues to win awards. The firm has just received three El Sol bronze awards. The Ibero-American Festival of Advertising Communication – one of the main sector events – has recognized the McDonald’s campaign “The last straw”, produced by the Consumer Engagement, Creative Study and Corporate Communication teams in two categories: Public Relations Marketing and Event Communication and Corporate Communication, and Relations with Stakeholders. The third award was for “Invisible Solitude” – a Consumer Engagement Project for BBK, in the category of Public Relations: Corporate Social Responsibility. The ceremony was held last night at the Circo Price Theater in Madrid.

“For the teams that form part of LLYC to be recognized for such prestigious international awards as El Sol is the culmination of years of commitment to creativity as a driver of our development and the key to the work we do for our clients”, stresses David González Natal, Partner and Senior Manager for Engagement.

The event was first introduced 35 years ago as an initiative of the Spanish Association of Advertising Agencies (AEAP), now known as the Association of Transforming Creativity Agencies, to boost the creativity of Spanish advertising. A total of 1,075 adverts corresponding to 2019 and 2020 were judged in this year’s edition (the festival was not held last year) created by companies from Ibero-America, the Hispanic market in the United States and Portugal. 14 countries presented their projects on this occasion.

2021 is proving to be another successful year for LLYC. The firm has now amassed 30 awards at the main international events held so far this year. It triumphed last week at the Brand Film Awards EMEA with the campaigns entitled “Ciao 2020” [Goodbye 2020] and “La cuna con pantallas” [A cradle with screens]. In April, “Invisible Soledad” won four prizes at the CLIO Awards. This project for BBK has just been recognized as the best advert for a non-profit organization at the PRWeek Global Awards. At another event – the Communicator Awards, organized by The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts of New York – the consultancy firm won 15 awards.
