Silvia Bajo joins LLYC as Senior Advisor

LLYC has hired Silvia Bajo as a Senior Advisor in Spain. She will work closely with the firm’s Engagement Department on forging differentiating narratives for companies. She is one of the most widely recognized experts in brand communication in our country. In 2021, she received the Professional Career award from the Jury Panel of the Efficacy Awards.

Silvia Bajo has more than 25 years of experience in the world of brands, marketing and communication. Until October 2021, she was the Corporate Brand Director at Caixabank, a position she was promoted to after nine years as the Brand Director at Bankia, following seven years in the same position at Bancaja. Her experience also includes important positions at agencies, with her professional career beginning at Bassat Ogilvy, Lowe Lintas and Saatchi & Saatchi as an account manager. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communication and Advertising. She studied the DIBEX at ISDI and the PAD Senior Management Program at IE Business School.

The incorporation of Silvia as a Senior Advisor will add the vision of the client, attention to new trends and a greater capacity to integrate – from the most strategic standpoint of the brands – the different disciplines in which LLYC already has outstanding capacities to the Engagement team run by Patricia Cavada. The campaigns carried out by this department include “Invisible Soledad” [Invisible Loneliness] for the BBK Foundation, which has already received more than 50 awards and the regional positioning strategy of “Screen Pollution” for Multiópticas, along with the “Sembrando el Futuro” [Sowing the Future] and “El sentido del Cacao” [The Sense of Cacao] initiatives for BBVA.

For Patricia Cavada, Senior Director of the Engagement Department at LLYC, “it is a privilege for the Engagement team to count on Silvia, due to her long and successful experience in building leading brands that connect”. “Her vision and experience in the world of communication and marketing offers us value to continue forging narratives with our clients that respond to business needs”, she explains.

“I am hugely excited to join the LLYC project because its vision fits in perfectly with mine. I believe in communication in all its formulas as a tool that does not change realities but helps us in the transformation of businesses and perceptions. It can help businesses to compete better in their markets and for brands to become more important and able to connect and excite their publics”, stresses Silvia Bajo.
