Rafael Pérez Fernández joins LLYC as Senior Director of Business Development in Europe

Rafael Pérez Fernández joins LLYC as Senior Director of Business Development in Europe. From this position he will contribute to the growth of the region, especially operations in Spain. To do this, he will open a new line of business with the public sector, leading the consultancy´s participation in tenders. He will also develop a joint offer of the firm´s different capacities and areas. He will include the expertise of LLYC, CHINA and Apache Digital to carry out integrated advertising, communication and digital marketing proposals, in line with the needs of large advertisers. Rafael will report directly to Luisa García, Partner and CEO of LLYC Europe, and will form part of the consultancy´s Executive Committee in Europe.

Rafael Pérez Fernández began his professional career at Siemens, as a Marketing Technician, and at Neo-Sky (Iberdrola Group) as Head of Market Research and Commercial Actions. He later joined Red.es, where he was Director of Marketing and Communication, being responsible for several campaigns such as TDT, España.es, Plan Avanza, FICOD and electronic DNI, among others. At Ogilvy, as Director of Business Development, he has been responsible for the firm´s new business for more than 10 years, participating in multiple Communication and Advertising projects for Tourism of Spain, AENA, Correos, Neolith, European University, Ministry of Equality, Public Treasury and DGT.

He has a degree in Business Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and a PhD from the UDIMA, in addition to holding two Master’s degrees in Digital Marketing and Marketing Management from the Camilo José Cela University and from ESIC, respectively. He also combines his work as a teacher at ESIC, a professor of Digital Marketing and Electronic Commerce and has co-founded several ecommerce, including www.eltiodelmazo.com, which is one of the benchmarks in the world of cycling.
