Marcela Arango, new Managing Director of LLYC in Colombia

LLYC hires Marcela Arango as Managing Director of its operation in Colombia, a position she takes on as from today. Through this appointment, it continues its development in the country and anticipates the needs of a highly competitive market, in constant growth in recent years. The aim is to offer its clients innovative tools and solutions that allow them to tackle even the most complex challenges and meet all their targets.

Marcela Arango is a professional in marketing, advertising and business from Grancolombiano Technical University and Southern New Hampshire University. She has more than 25 years of professional experience, during which time she has worked at Geometry, Grey, the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, Newell Sanford and JWT, holding leadership positions and running brand strategies for Diageo, Coca-Cola, Nutresa, Makro, Tigo, Bupa Latam, Carvajal, Vanti, Kimberly Clark, Café de Colombia, Bavaria, Ebel and Eveready, among others.

As regards her new position, Marcela states that “I take on this new challenge with a great deal of expectation and enthusiasm, placing all my knowledge and experience accumulated over more than 25 years of my professional career in the communication industry at the service of our clients and of the team. I am sure that at LLYC will be able to continue enhancing my passion for communication and its contribution to people, businesses and society”.

She takes over from María Esteve, a Partner at the firm who, after achieving noteworthy results heading up the General Management of LLYC Colombia, has been promoted to head up the Andes Region where she will run the business development of operations in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.
