Marc Casanovas, new Senior Director of Corporate Communications at LLYC Barcelona

Marc Casanovas joins LLYC Barcelona as Senior Director of Corporate Communications. In this position, he will be in charge of strengthening and consolidating the area, focusing on the development of high-value customers and the family business. Meanwhile, Eva Pedrol, also Senior Director of the Corporate area, will continue to lead crisis communication, startup ecosystem and consulting for international and technology companies. Both will report directly to María Cura, Partner and Managing Director of LLYC Barcelona.

Casanovas brings over 20 years of experience in communications and institutional relations sector. Until now, he has been communications director at Ogilvy Barcelona and a member of its Executive Committee. During his professional career, he has worked on projects for different institutions such as the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City Council, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and Andorra Tourism. His collaboration with companies includes, yet is not limited to brands such as Volkswagen Group, Purina, Cinfa, Vueling, Nestlé, Cofidis and the Pascual Maragall, Luzón and La Caixa Foundations. He has coordinated the communication of more than ten electoral campaigns and is a member of Dircom Spain, the Círculo de Economía and the Colegio de Marketing y Comunicación de Cataluña.
