LLYC presents New Normal, the fifth book in the Challenges series

LLYC has published its fifth volume in the ‘Challenges’ series under the title ‘New Normal’. This book, launched in a digital and paper format in the firm’s four languages (Spanish, English, European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese) addresses the new normal in the wake of the pandemic. It gathers together the main articles published by professionals of the consultancy firm in recent months, grouped under three headings: the new leadership of brands and people, new communication trends and sector adaptation to the new reality. It also contains an analysis of the recent presidential elections in the United States, which took Joe Biden to the White House.

“Companies, brands and businesses must be aware of what is new on the horizon, what is new and what will not be useful in the future”, stressed the President of the CEOE Foundation, Fátima Báñez, who penned the prologue to the book. In the epilogue, Pablo Blázquez, Director and Founder of Ethic, states that “although it is too early to anticipate what the world will be like after the virus, we do know that the return to normality will not be a return to the past”.

For José Antonio Llorente, Founding Partner and Chairman of LLYC, “this pandemic has speeded up trends that had already started to emerge and revealed the need to both adapt to and anticipate changes”. “It is no longer enough to rethink the how, we also need to re-evaluate the why and the what for. We can find keys in this book to this new normal, which is more than a mere sticker. This is a scenario where we must all reinvent ourselves”, he remarked.

The ‘Challenges’ series forms part of the IDEAS LLYC publications, the Leadership through Knowledge Center of the company. The previous volumes dealt with ‘Citizenship’, ‘Radical Transparency’, ‘Disruption’ and ‘Covid-19’.
