LLYC has announced that Francisco Rivadeneira has become a new member of the Advisory Council in Ecuador. Rivadeneira has extensive experience in public, private and international management in his career spanning more than 25 years.

It is important to highlight his mission as the representative of Ecuador before the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC and his role as an advisor to the Executive Director of this body; he also set up the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Ecuador, holding this portfolio during the negotiation process of the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union. He is currently the representative of the Exports and Investment Promotion Corporation of Ecuador (CORPEI) for Quito and the Andes Region, and of the World Chamber of Business Leaders in Ecuador. Furthermore, he has an extensive academic record as an undergraduate and post-graduate university professor at various institutions in the country.

According to Carlos Llanos, Partner and Managing Director of LLYC in Ecuador, “it is a privilege to be able to count on the judicious vision of Francisco on our Advisory Council, since his knowledge of the economic and political environment, backed by his widely acknowledged professional experience, will add valuable criteria to the firm’s decisions”.
