LLYC was established 26 years ago with three people. The workforce now exceeds 1,000 professionals globally. Specifically, it has 1,051 workers in the 12 countries where it offers its services. The workforce of the communication, digital marketing and public affairs consultancy firm has grown by almost 40% over the last year thanks to its growth plan. Over the course of 2021, the firm acquired three companies: Apache Digital, CHINA (both in Spain) and the Mexican firm BESO.
The operations with the largest workforce are Spain, with 403 professionals between the Madrid and Barcelona offices. This is followed by Mexico, with 250 and Peru, with 76. The list is completed by Brazil (75), Colombia (62), Argentina (51), Portugal (31), Panama (24), the USA (22), the Dominican Republic (22), Ecuador (18) and Chile (17).
LLYC’s workforce now includes professionals from more than 20 nationalities and a diversity of profiles. These include 105 creatives and designers, 60 data and development engineers, 135 specialists in digital influence and marketing, and more than 400 experts in engagement, public affairs, crisis management and training, and in corporate and financial communication. Women’s talent plays a key role. Women account for more than 60% of the firm’s professionals.

Luis Miguel Peña, Chief Talent Officer at LLYC, states: “We are very pleased to have a team with very diverse profiles. We now have more than 300 professionals specialized in creativity and exponential technologies. Our growth involves hiring the best professionals from the world of communication, marketing and public affairs”.

Commitment to junior talent

In order to tackle the demand for talent required under its ambitious growth plan, it plans to hire more than 500 professionals over the next two years. To achieve that, the consultancy firm has set up the “Challengers Program” to strengthen its commitment to young talent, one of the keys to the DNA of LLYC, which has always backed internal development.

The aim of this project is to revitalize the employee experience and accelerate the careers of professionals that join LLYC, those in the categories of Young Talent, Junior Consultants and Consultants. This new plan not only responds to a strategic reflection by the firm, but is also the result of gathering suggestions at various meetings with a broad spectrum of representatives from these categories over recent months. The program is gradually being introduced over the course of 2022.
